St. Wenceslaus Church

St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and its adjacent St. Wenceslaus Elementary School have outgrown their current facilities and are in need for permanent solutions to their congregation and school.  The program of this facility includes a parish hall, serving kitchen, administrative offices, five classrooms, two elevators, and new parking.  This project exhibits multi-use spaces for both the church and school while trying to transition a 1920's gothic-style church and a 1980's school together as a singular building.

The current church and school are in need of additional space to meet the needs of their growing community and increased demand for critical amenities. The facilities are currently landlocked except for individual opportunities to purchase private residences. SSH assisted the client in closing a street to provide contiguous parking and negotiating zoning variances to increase the buildable area of the property. Nearly all new spaces are multi-functional and require varying security accesses for evening and weekend functions.
