Memorial Hall - Camp Ashland

Completed for the Nebraska Military Department on Camp Ashland, Memorial Hall is a 10,250 sf historic structure dating back to 1929.  Memorial Hall has been used as a Military auditiorium with a display of historical military plaques, photos, and regimental flags.

As an interior restoration project, the team preserved the original beauty and craftsmanship of the Hall while providing the existing structure with state-of-the-art video, sound, and digital connectivity for conferences and flex space.  The major feature of this design was to accentuate the high ceilings and display the original steel roof trusses.  Also included in the scope of work were new restrooms on site, new utilities, and an upgraded mechanical system.  Porch restoration was also completed to match the existing windows on the remainder of the building and create a welcoming entrance to Memorial Hall.
